Maria Teresa Gomez-Award Winning Author (Gourmet Apples and More Baking Book) and Chocolate Treat Maker. Born and raised in Barrio Logan, National City and South San Diego. Currently resides with her husband, two boys and her furry baby in Bonita. Maria Teresa worked for 24 years as an Office Manager for a local small ship repair family owned business in National City before they closed in 2021. She took advantage of the opportunity to finally open her own business, Casa Chocolate located in National City. Casa Chocolate is a retail store and studio for chocolate workshops for adults and children. Maria Teresa has helped numerous students level up how to work with chocolate and how to make chocolate treats.
